How We Work
How Highland County Farmers Market Works
Customers using our website will be able to shop online with us any time between Saturday morning at 8am and Thursday at Noon. You pay for your order online and then pick it up on the following Friday at The Highland Center during the hours of 3:30pm-6:00pm.
Due to COVID-19 guidelines, orders from all Vendors will be delivered on Friday where we will separate the items out for each customer order with their name present on their packaged purchases. When the customers arrive at the pickup location, they will park in the parking lane by the modular buildings with their name on a piece of paper displayed in the window of their vehicle.
The vendor will deliver their packaged products to the customer's vehicle in a "contactless" manner and with the customer remaining in the vehicle, both to the greatest extent possible in order to maintain a minimum of 6-feet social distancing. The customer is encouraged to open their trunk from within the vehicle to permit the order to be placed in the trunk by the vendor. Customers who arrive on foot or bicycle shall follow the same procedure.
During the interaction with a customer, the vendor will wear a cloth face covering that conforms with the guidance issued by the Centers for Disease Control. Our Vendors will also disinfect their hands with hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol before and after each customer transaction. If any vendor or customer show signs of illness prior to the pick-up day, please refrain from coming to The Highland Center.
